Well, the day has finally arrived for me to start my one year wellness journey!
I had initially meant to start two weeks ago, but some situations in my life got in the way and I had to take care of some things first. But now it’s official. I have gathered all the different ways I am tracking my progress, and the programs I have written for myself and I officially took it all for a test drive. Needless to say, so far I am pleased with the results. I was hoping I would have a good baseline form which to build, and I feel that I challenged myself in the gym sufficiently to have to work to make improvements, which is super satisfying. I aim to make some sort of progress every day, and I will be logging all of my progress in this blog.
I have started a new category, which is called the One Year Program Day-by-Day, and each day will be written in a scientific research format to be easy to read the results of what I did that day, and to see trends from day to day.
This program is more than just a personal health transformation for me; it is also a research project which will attempt to answer many questions regarding creating and maintaining healthy lifestyles. It will also embody all of the education I have acquired as a fitness and health coach, and will be the body of work from which I make decisions from in the future regarding recommendations to clients.
